My parents had sold their home in 1965 (29 November). Betty B. Rice bought the house. The payments were suppose to be the First Federal in Savings and Loan Association of Amarillo, Texas. I know that this is a moot point at this time.. When my family moved from Hereford, Tx to Amarillo, Tx.., Dad went to work for the Range Riders in Amarillo, Tx. We were given an apartment. The first of January 1966, my dad was in an accident. He was no longer able to work and mama had to beg for help for 7 kids and I was 9 months pregnant. My dad was fired from the job, even though the boys did the job. If the sale of the house was received by the Savings and Loan, why was there no money given to my parents. My dad was J. H. Jones, and Maxine Jones. I assume that my aunt had loaned dad the $500.00 to get the house. Dad had to pay $45.00 a month for the payment. He paid roughly $3,780.00. Any info on this point would be helpful. I do know that their is an office in Washington DC to maybe help investigate this situation. Do you know the name of this office? Thank myou, Mary Fernandez
