I see that the Bradenton branch of CrossLand Savings is inactive, but in going through some old books of my mother's (who has since passed) I found an envelope tucked in between some pages that had a deposit slip for over $8000 and a copy of a cashier's check for $800.00. I was the executrix of her will but I don't recall seeing any information on CrossLand Bank in the papers I originally found. The address is for the branch in Bradenton, but I wondered if that account had been closed and all funds returned to my mother, Myrtle M Johnston.
